Services

Member Services within the Contemplative Order of Compassion includes, but is not limited to the following:

The Science of Living Magically – a weekly spiritual teaching from the Global Outreach Ministry, hosted by our Executive Director, the Most Reverend Dr. Francis-Maria (Gianmichael) Salvato.

Esoteric Catholic Mystagogy (ECM Program) – a monthly spiritual formation program for adults, ages 21 and older, exploring the deeper mysteries of esoteric catholic spirituality.

Great Sacrament Retreat – annual opportunities to explore the Great Mysteries of the ancient spiritual traditions, through the Great Sacrament. (Available only to those who have completed the year-long ECM program.)

Hospital/Hospice Visitation – where local congregations exist, chaplain’s services are available to hospitals, nursing homes and hospice programs.

Sacrament of Spiritual Communion (Eucharist) – As the central sacrament of the Community, our approach to Eucharist as the Ultimate Expression of Essential Unity moves beyond traditional eucharistic doctrines to respond to some contemporary problems and shed some light on the Great Mystery that stands at the center of the Esoteric Catholic experience.

Sacrament of Reclaiming the Sacred Womb – a sacramental ritual for women and those assigned female at birth (AFAB) to affirm bodily autonomy, self-worth, sovereignty and healing, through a sacred abortion ritual. By sanctifying the abortion process, affirming the individual’s sovereign and sacred rights to spiritual comfort, confidence and bodily autonomy when undergoing a safe, scientific procedure under the care of a qualified medical professional, this is one of the highest sacraments offered in our church.

Sacraments of Gender Affirmation – a sacramental ritual designed to provide spiritual comfort, psychological support and community affirmation of the gender identities of members of our church, including the options for sacramental gender confirmation surgery, during which a surgeon makes “like become like”.

Sacramental Relationship Affirmation – a sacramental ritual affirming the legal marriage of two persons, and/or the union of two or more adult persons in the sacrament of Holy Union.

Sacramental Reconciliation Service – an opportunity for individuals and groups to experience the transformative healing power of forgiveness of self and others.

Sacramental Transitions (Birth & Death) – Provided under the care of a doula or otherwise qualified medical professional in tandem with a spiritual practitioner, this is the celebration of Life, expressed through the lens of Sacred Transitions — whether the transition into life, as a newborn infant (the becoming of personhood), or the “transition beyond personhood” that occurs in death.

Sacrament of Ministerial Consecration – The sacred initiation into the vowed life as a contemplative or ministerial function.
