Becoming a Member of Our Community

We invite you to live in an environment that supports a happier, healthier life, celebrating who you authentically are. Join our spiritual community and bring your practice to life.

There are two ways to become part of the Contemplative Order of Compassion.

Lay Members are those who seek a sense of community belonging and who wish to learn more about our tradition. They are able to participate in our community’s weekly gatherings (in-person or virtual), share in the outreach and work we do within our local cities and towns, and participate in the sacramental life of the community.

Lay Members can participate in the Sacrament of Initiation, the Sacrament of Spiritual Communion, the Sacrament of Reconciliation, the Sacrament of Marriage, the Sacrament of Bodily Autonomy, the Sacrament of Gender Affirmation, the Sacrament of Healing and the Sacrament of Transition from This Life.

Consecrated Members are those who have gone through the three year academic and spiritual formation process to become ordained contemplatives (Sacrament of Ordination). In addition to the regular sacramental life of the community, Consecrated Members are invited to participate in the Sacrament of the Great Mysteries (Psychedelic Eucharist).

Since the emergence of the Covid Pandemic, we have limited the physical gathering of local spiritual communities/parishes. Our focus has shifted from building brick-and-mortar centres in dozens of locations throughout North America, South America, Australia, the United Kingdom, Sicily and the Philippines to combining our resources to establish a Global Outreach Centre, with media production facilities and administrative/academic offices in Central Pennsylvania, in the United States.
